Yes, Mowbly is designed to converge multiple backend data sources and IT systems into one single mobile app. You can chart out a mobility roadmap and actively integrate and mobile enable your existing IT systems in a hassle free way using Mowbly.
Does Mowbly provide on-premise deployment?

What kind of apps is Mowbly best suited for?
Mowbly is built specifically ground up for business apps. You can create personal productivity apps or lifestyle apps too with Mowbly but we do not support consumer app features like accelerometer. Our roadmap actively pursues only the native mobile app features which are needed by enterprise apps
Can I create games with Mowbly platform?
Yes, for fun you can. However if you want to build the next 3d action game or want to be serious game publisher, Mowbly is definitely not the right platform for you.
Can I convert an existing web app into a mobile app using Mowbly?
Yes, you can. However, your existing web app might need a few tweaks to be ported into a mobile app on the Mowbly platform. The key is to understand that a mobile app is not constrained by the limitations of a web browser app. This difference should be used to your advantage
Can I manage multiple identities/roles inside my company?
Yes, you can manage multiple identity/roles inside your company. You can distribute specific content relevant to them. You can set policies for content upgrade and more. This feature is not available in our free plan
Can I collect analytics from Mowbly apps?
Yes, you can collect and view analytics from your enterprise client app. Most of the system analytics are available in a pre-built dashboard and you can add customized business analytics to your apps using our analytics API.
Can I update mobile content directly from Mowbly?
Yes, with all our enterprise plans you can update content from the mobility server to your enterprise client app. This feature is not available in our community plan.
What are the key modules of Mowbly?
Mowbly has six distinct top level modules, they are the Management Console, Analytics Dashboard, Cloud Studio, Mobile Simulator, Cross Platform UI Framework and the Cross Platform Mobile SDK
Is Mowbly Cross Platform?
Yes, Mowbly is completely cross platform and supports iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone. In addition any app built on the Mowbly platform (enterprise plans) is also automatically rendered as a web app. The web app runs on all top browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari & Internet Explorer
What are the mobile platforms that Mowbly support?

Does Mowbly platform create native mobile apps?
Mobile apps created using Mowbly use what is known as the Hybrid app approach. The app runs completely native and even offline but uses web standards to render its user interface.
Does Mowbly provide offline development tools?
Yes, we will soon be releasing offline development tools for Mowbly, in addition to our Cloud IDE
Can I publish to mobile app stores from Mowbly?
You can build apps using the Mowbly platform and the app would be delivered to your registered email id. You have to upload it then to any app store of your choice.
Can I build iOS apps directly on Mowbly cloud?
Yes, you can build iOS apps directly from Mowbly cloud.
Does Mowbly use PhoneGap?
No, Mowbly does not use Phonegap. It uses a completely new cross platform sdk built by the Mowbly team specialized to enterprise specific needs. It is much more powerful than Phonegap when it comes to building a proper enterprise app
Can I use JQuery or other libraries in Mowbly apps?

No, Mowbly does not use JQuery mobile. It uses a completely new mobile user interface framework built by the Mowbly team specialized to enterprise specific needs. It is much more richer than JQuery mobile when it comes to building a proper enteprise app
Can I create a web app using Mowbly?
All app content created in our enterprise plans is by default available as a web app compatible with all top web browsers. This feature is not available in our community plan
What are the browsers supported by Mowbly IDE?
The Mowbly cloud IDE can be used in the latest versions of all the top browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer
Is there a free version of Mowbly?
Yes, Mowbly has a community version with which you can build a complete cross platform mobile app for iOS, Android, Blackberry & Windows Phone. On sign up you have unlimited public projects.
Can I discontinue Mowbly service at any time?
Yes, You can unsubscribe from our service at any time.
Where can I see my monthly bills?
Your monthly invoices are continously archived and can be accessed any time from the billing section of our admin dashboard. The dashboard is accessible to any user who is designated as admin in your company account.
Can I upgrade my plan at any point of my billing cycle?
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any point in your billing cycle
Can I make payments by wire transfer or cheque?
Yes, you can send a special request to [email protected] and we will discuss the same with you.
Can I downgrade my Mowbly subscription?
No, at the moment we do not support plan downgrades.
How quickly will Mowbly support a new OS or new OS version?
Any new OS or new OS version would be supported by our team in 4 to 6 weeks time frame and will be duely announced in our blog
Where can I raise a support call for Mowbly?
You can raise the support ticket at our support portal. The support portal can be accessed at the footer of all the pages in Mowbly
How quickly will my support call be responded to?
The response time of your support call is stipulated as part of your chosen plan. Each of our enterprise plan has a relevant support response time attached to it.
